Shimmery Night ....

A little windy ... but such a wonderful evening ... another look at Atlantis Paradise Island!

The dj was up high ... a true outdoor nightclub ... not that I know what the inside ones look like ... but this was fun and made me feel rather hip for an old girl!!

Do a little Shimmer ... for today ... for the holidays ... just for fun!

More from Atlantis Paradise Island ... this was not our party ... so, yes, I was spying from my balcony with my new "zoom" lens!!  I do think it looks like fun ... I'd guess a small gathering of about 50!!

It looks quite dreamy to me and so beautiful with the ocean as the backdrop ... not too shabby!

Here's another backdrop that Atlantis can offer up ... the enormously colorful Aquarium!

I love the way all the chairs are 'dressed' 

I don't know where we can find ourselves one of these ... but She does make things a little more fun!

For your next "little" soiree ...

Pucci inspired back lighting and the swank leather "lounges" gave the ballroom a little 60's vibe!

One of the things I love the most about being able to travel with Don to some amazing hotel properties is the opportunity to see all the events ... the decor and table settings which are so beautifully and meticulously prepared.  We just returned from Atlantis Paradise Island and this week I am going to bring you a taste of the Bahamas!  I also hope that they may inspire you as we get ready for this festive season ... quite a few ideas that I hope to bring home to my holiday table ... just on a little smaller scale!

Turndowns are always fun too!!  That is a Bobby Flay cookbook all wrapped up ... guess we'll be trying some of those recipes soon!
