My kids came home first week of school and said "Michelle Obama is ruining our lunches". At my kids' middle school, they are forced to take a fruit or veggie. The kids leave the line and dump the fruit or veggie right in the trash!! Now we're wasting food.

We used to joke about the Food Police; now it's real! The cafeteria was SO GOOD. It was so good that people would pay to get to eat there if given the opportunity. They were using old recipes that they'd been using for decades. Can you imagine the yummy pies and cakes? Then they decided to update all the recipes to use whole grains and no butters or fats. It's so different now and what the girls used to look forward to and enjoy is now just tolerated. I was fine with the unhealthy food. It was just one meal a day and I was so happy that my daughter ate enough food to get through the day without coming to the car starving after school. Pack some candy bars in your kids backpacks and let them know that you love them. I'm trying to decide if I should tackle a new room project or fix-up / warm up an existing one. I am 100% with you on your "situation" with your children's lunches! Need I say more!!!!!!!!
I am a true believer in window treatments. The lighting fixtures, and lamps are the jewels, but the window treatments provide the definition! I can't ever make a decision on what to do. Perhaps you could provide some insights in a post? I'll happy volunteer my family room windows (2 floor to ceiling flanking the fireplace and one French door) as inspiration! :)StagerLindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16829069076265680195noreply@blogger.com
